PCSO Daniel Eggleton of the Stoke-on-Trent South Local Policing Team stated, “Officers conducted a police operation checking vehicles to ensure drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts. Due to recent issues in the area, where drivers, passengers, and children are not wearing seat belts when being dropped off or picked up from school.” This direct approach emphasizes the police’s commitment to community safety.
