Woman Raped in Paisley Park: Urgent Police Investigation Underway

UPDATE: An urgent police investigation is underway following a horrific rape incident in Brodie Park, Paisley, that occurred at approximately 4:30 AM on November 16, 2025. The victim, who has not been hospitalized, is reported to be “extremely frightened and shaken” after enduring what has been described as an “appalling ordeal.”

Authorities are actively engaging with local residents and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, wearing dark grey clothing at the time of the attack, and he was noted to have a local accent.

Detective Inspector Nick Gribben stated, “This was an appalling ordeal for the woman who has been left understandably very shaken. We appreciate the impact this has had in the local community and want to reassure them that we are doing everything we can to trace the man responsible.”

As part of their comprehensive investigation, police are appealing to residents to check their doorbell and surveillance cameras for any footage that may have captured the suspect or any unusual activity around the time of the incident.
