UPDATE: Dr. Vladimir Peruničić is facing possible imprisonment after being accused of sending abusive messages online for the third time. Magdalena Čelanović, a journalist for RTV Podgorica, confirmed that Peruničić admitted to the actions but denied knowing her as the target.
Authorities report that during the investigation, Peruničić claimed he was intoxicated at the time of the incidents, stating, “I don’t know who you are.” His behavior was aggressive towards police officers during his arrest, where he reportedly insulted staff at OB Podgorica.
Čelanović emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “I hope he will end up in jail; he shows no remorse.” The maximum penalty for his offenses is being sought, with a decision expected within 15 days.
“This is his third offense since early 2024,” she added. “It’s crucial for women to report harassment, as many are afraid or ashamed to come forward.” Čelanović’s remarks underscore the urgent need to address harassment against women, especially in clinical environments.
This developing story is poised to send a strong message to potential offenders that such behavior will not be tolerated. Women receiving similar messages are encouraged to report them to authorities, as many have already begun to step forward.
