At approximately 9 PM on November 24, authorities received calls about an individual trying car doors along Blundellsands Road West.
Merseyside Police swiftly responded to the scene and apprehended a 39-year-old man from Prescot who was found in possession of several suspected stolen items, including a mobile phone. Furthermore, the suspect was carrying multiple bladed weapons, including a machete and small knives, as well as snap bags containing cannabis.
Detective Inspector Sara Lang praised the rapid response of her officers, stating, “Thanks to the swift action from officers, we were able to arrest a man at the scene after the incident was reported to us.” She emphasized the police’s commitment to addressing community concerns, assuring residents that all information is taken seriously.
