The show, hosted by comedian Lee Mack, kicked off an extended five-day special with a prize pool that could reach an astonishing £500,000 by the final episode. The format remains consistent with the original series, allowing unclaimed prize money to roll over to the next show. However, the excitement quickly turned into disbelief as contestants struggled to stay in the game.
During the first broadcast, only 15 contestants remained after the critical 35% question, leading Lee to remark on the low number of players left. “We’ve only got 15 people left in the game and only five passes, which is very low at this stage,” he noted.
