Suzuki has announced the debut of the Jimny Nomade Monster Hunter Wilds edition at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon, scheduled to take place from January 9 to January 11, 2026. This special edition vehicle will be showcased alongside the DR-Z4S Monster Hunter Wilds edition and several other unique models under the theme “Life with Adventure.”
Showcase of Unique Designs
The display will feature a total of nine models, including five one-off concepts and two accessory models. The Jimny Nomade and DR-Z4S are the results of a collaboration with Capcom, the creators of the highly anticipated video game Monster Hunter Wilds, which is set to be released in 2025. This partnership marks a continuation of Suzuki’s involvement with the Monster Hunter franchise, following the success of the 2018 title, Monster Hunter: World.
The Jimny Nomade Monster Hunter Wilds edition draws inspiration from a new in-game feature known as ‘Pop-up Camps.’ This variant of the popular Jimny 5-door model, produced in India, is adorned with graphics and decals that echo the game’s aesthetics. While the visuals have been significantly updated, the vehicle is expected to retain the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, complete with standard four-wheel drive and options for both manual and automatic transmissions.
Motorcycle Collaboration and Other Models
In addition to vehicles, Suzuki will introduce a special edition of the DR-Z4S dual-sport motorcycle. This model features blue graphics that reflect its in-game counterpart, a mode of transportation called ‘Seikret.’ Further expanding its showcase, Suzuki will also present the newly unveiled GSX-8TT neo-retro roadster, appealing to a diverse range of automotive enthusiasts.
Among the unique one-off models on display is a rugged version of the recently launched XBEE facelift, dubbed the Nature Photographer edition. Other notable models include the Every Wagon van, designed with a lifestyle and adventure focus and named Wanpaku Rider, as well as a specially customized Super Carry, branded as Work & Play Pro. The lineup will also feature the Swift Sport Super Taikyu race car, emphasizing Suzuki’s commitment to performance and innovation.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is expected to attract automotive enthusiasts from around the globe, providing a platform for Suzuki to demonstrate its creative designs and collaborations. With a strong focus on adventure and gaming culture, the Jimny Nomade Monster Hunter Wilds edition is poised to capture the attention of both gamers and car lovers alike.
