Quality Street, a beloved confectionery brand, has introduced a new mystery chocolate flavour named Pineapple Creme. This announcement comes after months of speculation, delighting chocolate enthusiasts during the festive season. Traditionally, a staple in holiday households, Quality Street is renowned for its assorted chocolates, including the iconic Purple One, Green Triangle, Strawberry Delight, and Orange Crunch.
The new flavour, packaged in distinctive shiny green wrapping, was exclusively available at John Lewis and Waitrose stores across the UK. Customers had speculated about the new addition, with guesses ranging from citrus flavours like lemon or lime to more unconventional options such as pistachio or lemon curd.
According to a report by The Sun, Rachael Mundy, marketing manager for Gifting & Seasonal at Nestlé Confectionery UK & Ireland, expressed excitement over the secretive launch: “Each year we look forward to bringing a limited edition sweet into the mix to excite and delight Quality Street fans, but this year we took it a step further by keeping the flavour top secret. It’s been so fun hearing everyone’s guesses, and the team is relieved to finally be able to shout about the mysterious Pineapple Creme.”
Since the reveal, fans have taken to social media to share their reactions. Many praised the new flavour, with one user declaring, “Loved the pineapple, best flavour you’ve done.” Another commented, “The green wrapper tried to fool my brain to say lime but I came up with pineapple.” A third user on X stated, “Oh no!
