Conor McGregor Takes Shots At Jake Paul, Calls Him A “Dweeb”, Is McGregor considering a fight with Jake Paul?
Conor McGregor made his feelings about Jake Paul clear. Before Paul’s upcoming fight with MMA fighter and bare knuckle boxer Mike Perry, McGregor made his position clear.
During a press conference in Spain, McGregor referred to Paul as a “nerd” and commended Perry for his success in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
McGregor commented on the fate of Michael Perry, a major celebrity at our company. He has experienced a significant increase in his performance in the sport.
Now he is going to face a small insignificant opponent in a battle this weekend. And we’re all supporting him.
Perry has become a standout fighter for BKFC, claiming the “King of Violence” Championship by defeating ex-UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez. It’s a ceremonial, boasting championship just like the BMF title is for the UFC.
Conor McGregor was expected to make his MMA comeback at UFC 303 by facing Michael Chandler, his coaching rival from the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Nevertheless, McGregor withdrew from the match due to an injury. A new date has not been announced by the UFC yet.
McGregor’s most recent fight was cut short when he fractured his ankle during the first round of a bout against Donald Cerrone.
McGregor is known for his famous trash talk, with “dweeb” being one of the least insulting things he has said to others.
Mike Perry will be facing Jake Paul this weekend instead of Mike Tyson, who was originally scheduled to fight.
Tyson withdrew from the fight due to sustaining an injury during training. Paul and Tyson have moved the fight to November, making it the first live sports event to be shown on Netflix.
Fans have expressed disapproval of Paul’s boxing career, noting that numerous opponents are not professional boxers.
Paul’s sole defeat in his professional boxing career came at the hands of Tommy Fury, who is the younger sibling of Tyson Fury.
Even at the age of almost 60, the iconic Iron Mike would still pose a formidable challenge as an opponent.
Supporters will need to be patient and wait a couple of months for the fight to happen. Currently, Perry’s goal is to hand Paul his second defeat during the Saturday night match.
