Viewers of ITV’s reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! expressed their disappointment after Saturday’s episode aired on November 29. Many fans are calling for campmate Martin Kemp to be given a chance to participate in the Bushtucker Trials, as eliminations begin in the jungle.
During the episode, campmates were tasked with selecting one among themselves to take on the day’s challenge, known as ‘Wrecking Balls of Rage.’ Vogue Williams eagerly volunteered for the trial, believing her physical abilities would serve her well. As she prepared for her first solo Bushtucker Trial, presenters Ant and Dec provided a description of the obstacles she would face.
Vogue had to navigate a large obstacle course while collecting stars from slime-filled buckets, all while avoiding a plunge into the water. The challenge required her to begin on a spinning platform, which would disorient her before she could attempt the course. As the klaxon sounded, Vogue boldly set off, only to be knocked off by a massive inflatable ball on her first attempt. “Jesus! This is harder than I thought it would be!” she exclaimed, capturing the moment’s intensity.
Despite Vogue’s spirited performance, fans were vocal about their desire to see Martin Kemp take on a trial. The seasoned actor and singer, aged 64, has yet to participate in any Bushtucker Trial since entering the jungle nearly two weeks ago. The first elimination of the season occurred earlier, with Alex Scott being voted off as the initial celebrity to leave the competition.
On social media platform X, viewers voiced their frustrations. One user wrote, “I just wanna see Martin do a proper trial #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity,” while another added, “Can y’all let Martin do a trial god #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity.” A third fan echoed this sentiment, stating, “I need them to show more of Martin. I love him #imaceleb.” The call for Martin to be included in the next trial was reiterated by another fan, who urged, “Vote Martin for the next trial, he’s so desperate to do one #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #imacelebrityunpacked.”
As the competition intensifies, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! continues to air at 9 PM on ITV and ITVX, promising more thrilling moments and unexpected twists for both contestants and viewers alike.
