Chessington World of Adventures Unveils £15 Million Paw Patrol Attraction

Chessington World of Adventures, a prominent theme park in Surrey, has introduced its latest attraction, an immersive £15 million experience themed around the popular children’s show, Paw Patrol. Scheduled to open this spring, the new area will feature four thrilling rides designed to engage families and young fans alike.

Exciting New Attractions for Families

The Paw Patrol-themed land, named the World of Paw Patrol, will include rides such as Chase’s Mountain Mission, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure. This development marks the UK’s first dedicated Paw Patrol area, promising to bring the vibrant world of the show to life for its visitors.

Among the highlights, Chase’s Mountain Mission offers guests the opportunity to experience a high-speed rollercoaster ride, simulating a rescue mission alongside Chase and Everest. Skye’s Helicopter Heroes will allow riders to soar above the park in a helicopter, delivering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Another innovative addition, Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, will be the UK’s first “Drifter” ride, where visitors can glide on hovercrafts. For younger guests, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue provides a playful experience, allowing them to climb aboard a bright red fire truck as it navigates through Adventure Bay.

Join the Fun as PAWject Manager

In an exciting twist, Chessington World of Adventures is also searching for a fan to take on the role of “PAWject Manager.” This unique position will allow one lucky individual to give their final approval on the attraction before it officially opens. The PAWject Manager will be the first to experience the rides and will have the opportunity to meet beloved Paw Patrol characters.

The winner will receive tickets for their family to attend the grand opening event, a night in one of the five Paw Patrol-themed hotel rooms at Chessington, and additional Paw Patrol merchandise. Interested participants can enter the competition until 11:59 PM on March 4, 2024.

Sian Hooper, Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Bringing World of Paw Patrol to life is a true labour of love. From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy, and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show. Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they’re stepping into Adventure Bay — whether they’re skidding and sliding with Zuma or soaring sky-high with Skye.”

As families eagerly await the opening of this new attraction, Chessington World of Adventures continues to solidify its position as a prime destination for family entertainment in the UK.
