A new culinary destination is set to open at Glasgow Fort this week. The popular Mexican street-food restaurant, Mezcal, will launch its flagship location on November 26, 2023, offering an exciting addition to the east end shopping centre. This opening comes just in time for the festive season, providing visitors with an enhanced dining experience.
To celebrate its launch, Mezcal will offer 50% off all food from November 26 until November 28. This promotion invites guests to explore the extensive menu, which features a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, nachos, and quesadillas, along with the restaurant’s signature margaritas. The new venue aims to cater to everyone, from those seeking a quick bite to those enjoying more relaxed meals with family and friends.
Located between the Vue cinema and Heavenly Desserts, Mezcal strengthens Glasgow Fort’s diverse dining options at a time when the shopping centre continues to expand its mix of food and retail brands. The centre’s director, Phil Goodman, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition. He stated, “Mezcal is a welcome addition to the centre, bringing a fresh new flavour for visitors looking to enjoy a meal while spending time at Glasgow Fort. With the festive season underway, the timing couldn’t be better, and we’re expecting the launch offer to be a real hit with those keen to try the menu for the first time.”
In addition to Goodman’s comments, Daryl Knox, the area operations manager, highlighted the excitement surrounding the opening. “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors at Glasgow Fort and introducing even more people to the bold, fresh flavours that make Mezcal special. From tacos to margaritas, our menu is all about fun, flavour and celebrating the Mexican street-food experience. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors in for our opening week – and treating them to 50% off to kick things off in style.”
As Glasgow Fort expands its culinary landscape, the arrival of Mezcal is expected to attract both new and returning visitors, eager to indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine during the holiday shopping season.
