QNET Honored with 3 Stevie® Awards for Anti-Scam Efforts

UPDATE: QNET has just been awarded three Stevie® Awards for its groundbreaking anti-scam campaign, reinforcing its commitment to consumer protection in West Africa. The recognition, announced in October 2025, underscores the urgent need for safeguarding communities against fraudsters exploiting the company’s name.

The Gold Stevie® Award was granted for “QNET Against Scams: Rebuilding Trust Through Crisis Communication and Public Education in Ghana,” winning in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Brand / Reputation Management category. A Silver Stevie® Award recognized the same campaign’s public service impact, while a Bronze Stevie® Award celebrated the success of QNET’s V-Africa 2025 conference in the Corporate & Community – Community Engagement Event category.

This recognition comes amid rising fraud issues targeting direct selling companies in emerging markets, where scammers have falsely claimed to represent QNET, promising jobs, visas, and financial returns to vulnerable West African communities. Launched in 2024, the six-month initiative began in Ghana before expanding to Senegal and Sierra Leone, addressing these critical challenges directly.

Campaign efforts included the deployment of billboards, radio spots, television ads, illustrated pamphlets, and a strong digital presence across multiple regions in Ghana. QNET’s on-ground teams creatively engaged the public by distributing materials on roller skates in high-traffic areas, reaching communities in Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Western, Ahafo, Volta, Northern, and Bono regions.

The campaign effectively distinguished between legitimate direct selling practices and fraudulent schemes. It clarified that QNET operates as a direct selling business focused on product sales, not recruitment or investment schemes.

In a collaborative effort with law enforcement, QNET opened a Scam Alert portal, empowering consumers to report suspected fraud. The WhatsApp reporting line received over 1,000 reports during 2025, with 70 cases forwarded to authorities for investigation.

Trevor Kuna, Chief Marketing Officer at QNET, emphasized the importance of this recognition, stating, “These awards validate our efforts to combat those who misuse our brand name to defraud others. We are determined to protect the communities in which we operate and rebuild trust with our customers and stakeholders.”

The International Business Awards evaluated over 3,600 nominations from organizations across more than 60 countries in 2025. More than 230 industry professionals reviewed submissions, reinforcing the significance of QNET’s achievements.

For more than two decades, QNET has been a key player in lifestyle and wellness direct selling, offering health supplements, wellness devices, personal care products, home care solutions, and luxury watches through an extensive network of independent distributors in over 25 countries.

As QNET continues to expand its reach, the fight against fraud remains a top priority. The company’s proactive measures in consumer education and collaboration with authorities are vital steps in restoring confidence in direct selling practices throughout the region.

Stay tuned as QNET strengthens its initiatives against scams and continues to advocate for consumer protection in West Africa.
