According to the Police Administration, the minors contacted the victim from a hidden phone number. They threatened to release explicit material featuring the victim unless a specified amount of money was handed over. This alarming attempt at extortion prompted an immediate investigation by law enforcement.
The police undertook rigorous measures to ascertain the identities of the suspects. Through their efforts, officers determined that both individuals are residents of Tivat and are also 17 years old. Following this identification, police officials conducted interviews with the girls in the presence of their legal guardians.
After gathering the necessary information, the police informed the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor about the case. The prosecutor classified the offense as attempted extortion, leading to the formal charges against the two teenagers.
