A former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, Stacey Williams, has made serious allegations against former President Donald Trump, claiming Epstein delivered her to Trump in 1993 to be “groped.” Williams, who is a former swimsuit model, discussed these claims during an appearance on CNN on March 14, 2024, following the release of Epstein’s private emails by the House Oversight Committee. These emails have reignited public scrutiny surrounding Epstein’s controversial legacy.
During the interview, Williams was prompted to respond to an email where Epstein bragged about “giving” one of his girlfriends to Trump. She stated, “It screams about, you know, the mindset of these men. The same two men who did what they did to me when Jeffrey Epstein walked me into Donald Trump’s office to be groped by him. Clearly, we are these objects, these trophies, and it’s deeply misogynistic. It’s horrifying.”
Williams originally came forward with these accusations in 2024, alleging that Trump inappropriately touched her at Trump Tower in New York City. At that time, the White House vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as “unequivocally false,” according to reporting by The Guardian.
Trump responded to recent developments on March 15, 2024, accusing Democrats of attempting to revive what he termed the “Epstein Hoax.” The Independent has reached out to the White House for further comment regarding Williams’ allegations.
New Developments in Epstein Case
Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking minors, died in prison later that year while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide. Williams, in her CNN interview, emphasized that she believed she was brought to Trump as “a challenge” due to her combative nature with men in the fashion industry. She recalled, “I clearly was delivered there for the groping… when I froze and didn’t respond, I think Jeffrey got very upset about it. He expected a fight.”
Williams’ remarks follow a recent House discharge petition that has gained sufficient support to mandate a vote on the release of the Department of Justice’s files related to Epstein. Four Republican members, including Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert, have signed the petition. House Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated plans to hold a vote next week on whether to release these documents.
“I’ve never understood the role of legislative officials in protecting pedophiles,” Williams stated, advocating for transparency in the investigation. “If some of them are finally arriving at some moral clarity, you know, that’s a good thing. Transparency is critical.”
As the public continues to grapple with the implications of Epstein’s actions and the individuals connected to him, the call for accountability and transparency in the investigation remains more pressing than ever.
