BREAKING: A new political force advocating for Scottish independence has emerged, as the Alliance to Liberate Scotland (ALS) officially registers as a political party. “We exist to replace the lack of vigour from the SNP leadership on this vital issue,” Nugent said. He criticized the SNP for failing to act on the mandate secured during the 2015 UK election, where they garnered enough votes to push for independence. “They should have declared UDI—unilateral declaration of independence. UDI is our plan, our intention.”
