Elvis Costello Expands 2026 Tour with New UK and European Dates

Elvis Costello & The Imposters, featuring guitarist Charlie Sexton, have announced additional UK and European dates for their 2026 tour titled “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello.” Due to high demand, the tour has expanded from five to thirteen dates, including a newly added show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on June 20, 2026. Other new performances will take place in cities such as Brighton, Stockholm, Hamburg, and Oslo.

The tour initially began with a five-date schedule that was revealed in December 2023. The original cities included Birmingham, London, Portsmouth, Newcastle, and the TW Classic festival in Werchter, Belgium. Costello will be accompanied by The Imposters—comprised of Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher—as well as Charlie Sexton, who gained recognition for his work with Bob Dylan. Sexton originally joined Costello for the “Hello Again” tour in 2021, and he has remained a part of the lineup since then.

Details of the Expanded Tour

The ticket pre-sale for the new dates will begin on February 4, 2026, at 10:00 local time, with general sales starting on February 6, 2026, at the same hour. Fans can purchase tickets through various platforms. The performances will focus on music from Costello’s earlier albums, including his acclaimed 1977 debut album “My Aim Is True” and the 1986 release “Blood & Chocolate.” This period in Costello’s career marked a significant evolution for the artist, as he transitioned from his early work with the band Clover to forming The Attractions.

The announcement of the new tour dates coincides with the release of “King Of America & Other Realms,” a six-CD anthology that was released in 2024, chronicling the story behind Costello’s iconic 1986 album “King of America.” Fans can expect to hear tracks from this anthology during the tour, particularly during mid-show interludes.

Additionally, a new festival called State Fayre is set to launch in the UK this summer, featuring headlining performances from Costello, Young, Kings Of Leon, The Lumineers, and others. The festival signifies Costello’s continued prominence in the music scene, as he remains a vital figure in contemporary music.

With the expansion of the “Radio Soul!” tour, Elvis Costello & The Imposters continue to engage fans with their classic sound while introducing new generations to the artist’s storied catalog.
