Right Said Fred to Headline Long Walk Live Music Festival

Right Said Fred, the renowned 1990s pop band, has been confirmed as the early evening performers for the upcoming Long Walk Live music festival. Scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2025, the band is expected to entertain audiences with their popular hits including “I’m Too Sexy,” “Don’t Talk Just Kiss,” and “Deeply Dippy.” This two-day event will take place on the picturesque Long Walk in Windsor, UK, and aims to attract music lovers from across the region.

The festival, organized by the same team behind the local Platinum Jubilee and Coronation celebrations, will run from June 26 to June 27. Attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup featuring headliners, solo artists, professional tribute acts, and local talent. All proceeds from the festival will support the Windsor community through the Windsor Festival and The Prince Philip Trust Fund.

Right Said Fred, consisting of Windsor residents Richard and Fred Fairbrass, will perform prior to Boyzlife, the duo of Keith Duffy from Boyzone and Brian McFadden from Westlife. They will conclude the evening with a selection of hits from their respective catalogues. Saturday will also feature performances by tribute bands, including a Taylor Swift tribute band, So Taylor, and Mattmatics, who will cover fan-favourite Ed Sheeran songs.

In a statement, Right Said Fred expressed their excitement about the event: “Having been Berkshire residents for many years, we’re really looking forward to playing on our home turf.” Chris Aitken, chairman of the Windsor Festival and the Long Walk Live event committee, added, “We’re thrilled to welcome Right Said Fred to Long Walk Live. Their music is instantly familiar, fun, and unifying — exactly the kind of energy we want to bring to Saturday night.”

The festival’s opening day will showcase Chesney Hawkes, known for his hit “The One and Only,” along with tribute acts DUA BEYOND and ABBA INFERNO. As anticipation grows, ticket sales for the event have been strong, with discounted tickets released in December selling out quickly.

While the limited Early Bird 1 tickets for Saturday are no longer available, festivalgoers can still purchase Early Bird 2 tickets starting at £30 for adults and £15 for children. A few Early Bird 1 tickets for Friday remain, priced at £22.20 for adults and £7.50 for children. Family tickets are also available for both days.
