A citizen of Georgia, identified as T.P., was arrested in Bijelo Polje after allegedly stealing €2,850 from an unattended vehicle. The theft took place when T.P. reportedly took advantage of the owner’s negligence, leading to a swift response from local authorities.
According to the Regional Security Centre “North,” officers from the Bijelo Polje Security Department acted promptly following a report of the theft. They quickly located T.P. and apprehended him at the Dobrakovo border crossing as he attempted to leave Montenegro.
The police statement confirmed that T.P., aged 40, was taken into custody based on suspicions of committing a theft. They emphasized the importance of timely measures to address all forms of criminal activity, which is vital for enhancing community safety and protecting the personal and property security of citizens.
