Aldi Revamps Middle Aisle Schedule Ahead of Holiday Season

Aldi has announced significant changes to its popular middle aisle, known for offering unique products and special finds, in all its UK stores over the coming weeks. The adjustment to the Specialbuys schedule will coincide with bank holidays and store closures, affecting the typical delivery of new items.

Traditionally, Aldi unveils new Specialbuys every Thursday and Sunday. However, due to the upcoming Christmas holiday, there will be no new products released on December 25, 2023, as all stores will be closed for the day. According to an Aldi spokesperson, “The next Specialbuy release is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, so we’ll see new stock landing after the Christmas period.”

The alterations continue into the New Year, with January 1, 2024, also being a public holiday. As a result, the following week’s Specialbuys will be announced on January 2, 2024, and January 4, 2024. After these adjustments, Aldi expects to revert to its regular schedule starting January 4, 2024. Customers can stay updated on upcoming releases through the Aldi website.

Aldi’s selection for the December 28 release aims to support a fresh, organized start to the year. Shoppers can anticipate items such as a three-tier rattan set of drawers priced at £9.99 and antibacterial Dettol surface cleansing wipes for £2.69.

In preparation for the holiday closures, Aldi will close its stores at 18:00 on Christmas Eve, providing shoppers nearly 12 hours to make any last-minute purchases. The store hours are as follows:

– **Christmas Eve:** 07:00 to 18:00
– **Christmas Day:** Closed
– **Boxing Day:** Closed
– **New Year’s Eve:** 08:00 to 18:00
– **New Year’s Day:** Closed

These adjustments to the middle aisle schedule reflect Aldi’s commitment to maintaining customer service while accommodating nationwide holiday observances.
