In connection with activities during the November riots in Dublin, five men have been charged.
The men were captured on Tuesday morning regarding continuous examinations concerning serious public issue on 23 November in Dublin downtown area.
On Wednesday, all five men appeared before the Criminal Court of Justice.
Charges
Thomas Fox, 21, of Kinlay House, 4 Master Edward Road, was accused of rough issue on Burgh Quay, the thievery of Footlocker and criminal harm to a Dublin Transport.
Following the search of his hostel room when he was arrested, he was also charged with illegally possessing cocaine and cannabis for sale or supply.
There was an objection to bail.
Margaret Kennedy Road resident Corey Gaynor, 23, was charged with rioting on O’Connell Street Upper, breaking into Spar O’Connell Street, Arnotts, Guud Day Café, and possessing stolen property.
He was held for a second time.
Footlocker O’Connell Street burglary was charged against 48-year-old Gavin Murphy of Oriel Hall.
He made no answer to the charge and was delivered on bail.
He was instructed to avoid O’Connell Street and sign on three days per week at the Store Street Garda station.
Gavin Hudson, 27, of Summerhill Spot, was accused of thievery of Footlocker Mary Road and robbery of Way of life Mary Road.
It is claimed he took a naval force and white Totto rucksack worth €30 (£25), earphones and a pot worth €100, a blend of beauty care products and creams worth €100 and an electric bicycle battery worth €150.
Mr. Hudson apologized to the Irish police when he was charged.
The court was informed Mr Hudson was in the high level phases of HIV and had not approached his prescription for two days.
Judge Monika Leech said she would give him bail because of his health situation.
He was instructed to register at the Garda Station in Store Street and to avoid Henry Street and Mary Street.
Jamie Robinson, 24, of Windmill Road, Crumlin, was accused of thievery of Celebration Shop, Lower Nunnery Road. He is alleged to have taken eight boxes of cigarettes, socks, and a puma hoodie.
He was told to avoid O’Connell Street and Abbey Street only because he had a three-month-old child nearby in Dublin 1.
A check in time was applied from 23:00 to 06:00.
All men will return to court at a later time.
What occurred during the revolting?
Following the stabbing of a woman and three young children in Parnell Square, rioting broke out in Dublin.
Up to seven vehicles were set ablaze during the disturbance, including three buses, three Garda cars, and a Luas tram, as crowds on the streets violently clashed with garda.
A spokesperson for the Garda said that the organization was still asking for information about the rioting or anyone involved.
