Warwickshire Businesses Invited to Influence Policing Budget for 2026/27

Businesses in Warwickshire are encouraged to contribute their insights into the region’s policing budget for the fiscal year 2026/27. Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Seccombe is hosting an online Business Feedback Session on January 15, 2026, from 08:00 to 09:00 via Microsoft Teams. This session is part of a broader public consultation process.

Public Consultation to Shape Budget Priorities

The public consultation will officially commence in late December or early January, following the government’s confirmation of funding allocations for the upcoming year. This timeline allows Commissioner Seccombe to prepare informed proposals based on community feedback. The final budget is scheduled to be established in February.

Commissioner Seccombe emphasized the importance of business input, stating, “Businesses play a vital role in our communities and their insight is essential in shaping policing priorities across Warwickshire. This session is a great opportunity for those working in industry, the retail sector, and rural businesses to take part and share their views.”

He further noted that the feedback gathered will guide the budget to align with the needs of Warwickshire’s diverse economy while enhancing public safety. “Your feedback will help ensure the budget reflects the needs of Warwickshire’s diverse economy and supports efforts to keep people and property safe,” he added.
